Early July Update - I just listed a new rod that is ready for shipment. It is an 8'3" 6wt 3/2 SH taper, scallop hollowed - SH8363h. An unusual opportunity to get a finished rod without the wait! Summer is progressing well. Fishing has been fairly slow in general here so far this year, with an exceptional Sockeye run on the Kenai being the exception. Most rivers have been closed for Kings due to low returns. Hopefully the runs are just late and won't be as poor as some are suspecting. I'm continuing to extend my reel special.
