*The CL1 is a Large Arbor (SLL) version of the CL2
reel. The same diameter and less capacity makes it
a great 3-4 weight reel.
Change out the spool with
a standard CL2 spool and you can now go all the way from a 3wt to a 6wt with one

CK Series Reels

The Shilton freshwater large arbor reels have two
reels in the range, the CK 2 (4-5wt) which holds 60m
of 20lb backing with a 5 wt floating line, and the
CK 3 (6-7 wt) which holds 90m of 20lb backing with a
7wt floating line. These reels sport the
unmistakable Shilton porting and use the tried and
tested, ultra smooth CL Series drag. Like all the
other Shilton reels these reels are machined from
solid 6082 T6 bar stock using the latest CNC
technology and come with a limited life warranty.
The reels come in a genuine leather pouch. |

In our extensive dealings
and conversations with guides fishing with Shilton
Fly Reels around the globe, it became obvious that
there was a need for two things namely; a fly
reel with a higher line retrieval and a fly reel
that addressed the huge backing capacities of fly
reels spooled with the new ultra thin superbraid
backings (after all, not everybody needs 1200 metres/1300
yards of 50lb braid backing on their Shilton SL8
Large Arbor Fly Reel).
Instead of going out and developing a brand new fly
reel, we believe that our Shilton Mega Arbor Spools
meet both these requirements. The new spools have
also been developed to allow the angler to use the
SL Series reels for line weights lighter than
originally intended.
Shilton also developed the new CL1 spool which fits
onto the CL2 fly reel, effectively turning a 5
weight reel into a highly functional large arbor
three weight fly reel.
Besides looking great, we believe these spools add
an excellent deal of versatility to the Shilton Fly
Range.

Warranty Information
All Shilton Reels carry a limited lifetime
warranty covering all
parts and workmanship under normal use and conditions. The
warranty covers the necessary replacement of any part due to
wear or defect. This warranty does not cover damage caused by
modification,
alteration, misuse or improper care and maintenance of the reel.
For repairs not covered by the warranty, a quotation will be forwarded
for approval before repairs proceed.
Warranty is valid for original owner only and is not transferable
All reels sent in for service should include $30 for return shipping and
insurance.
Please remove all line and backing before returning your reel for
service or repair.
